It’s been quite an amazing weekend for FPCC members.
Dominic Bray and Mark Morris represented us in the Colchester 25 Spoco with Dom sneaking into the top 10 in 9th place and Mark getting 14th.
Gregory Paul Smith, Anthony Jarrett, Amir Eshtehardi and Alex Cohen raced in the Falling leaves road race with Greg picking up his first well deserved winnings whilst Mani Arthur raced at the Velopark on Saturday.
Chris Lodge lead a party over to Belgium for a weekend on the track. Hugh Vivian, Philip Murrell and Peter Douglas kicked off their cyclocross season over in Basildon and Chelmsford.
Peter Bullen, Richard Crighton and Simon Neatham road the London Oxford London 200km Audax in FPCC colours while Joff Verby did the same on a 200km Audax round the Isle of Wight and New Forest.
Two club runs left Potters Bar on Sunday morning with one of them being our first Introductory ride lead by Peter Bullen who had already ridden 200km on Saturday, this attracted 13 riders and looks like it will become a regular monthly club ride.
Daniel Northover rode the Icknield 10 in a PB of 19.31 and Julian Elliott equalled his PB on the E2/25 in Newmarket with 52.42.
Last and by no means least Gray Turnock travelled up to the midlands for the BDCA 100 mile TT, he got round in an amazing 3.41.11 to set a new club record by over 7 minutes.
