Club Odam – After 4 rounds

Odam Series after 4 rounds.

Round 3 was an improvement on previous trips and we nearly doubled our attendance to date with eight members scoring points and plenty of time left for everyone to have a tilt at the Odam trophy.
Matt Larkins confirmed his early season promise and secured 10 points in his second round putting him in second place at that stage, trailing scratch contender, Tom Boulton, by 3 points and 1 ahead of his Odam rival, Andy Turnock.
A super low turnout for round 4 gave Peter and Chris the chance of some easy points. Peter duly snatched the 10 and Chris 9. Table now gives best to Peter on 25, Tom next on 23 and Matt third on 20.

Averages tell the story of potential outcomes: Matt is sitting on 10, Andy on 9.5 and Peter with 8.3. So at this point it looks like a battle between Matt and Andy; but five rides are needed to have any hope of the title. You have to be in it to win it.
