Clubruns currently depart at 9.30am.

Our Club runs are the usual starting point for those interested in joining the club. Please Contact Us if you would like to join us on a Clubrun.

We meet on Sunday mornings at the junction of A1000 and Mutton Lane, Potters Bar. MAP

We ask that riders new to the club join our Introductory Ride which is normally held on the first Sunday of each month.

Please check the date of the next Introductory ride on this page

Once you’ve been on an Introductory ride you’ll be able to join one of our regular groups.

Our ‘Steady group’ is a sensibly paced ride of around 40 -50 miles. Add on your mileage to Potters Bar and for most North London riders it’s a 50-60 mile day out, normally with a tea stop. Ideal for those looking to ‘step up’ to decent length club runs and those looking for training rides in the close season. Nobody is left behind and assistance given with punctures etc. Average speed about 14-16 mph. If you’re new to riding with a club or in a group but know that you can cover the distance then this is the ride to join. Our Comfortable group will cover a similar distance at a more leisurely pace.

Our Quick group is for faster/fitter riders with experience riding in a group looking for a 50 to 60 mile ride. Often without a tea stop in winter and no waiting for dropped riders as the ride quickens towards the end. Everyone in this group is expected to do their bit on the front and not ride as a ‘passenger’. Average speed approx 17 – 18 mph.

Fast group. Averaging around 19 – 20 mph over 100km plus this is the group for ‘racers’ who are normally training quite seriously.

We do ask that once you have been on 3 Club Runs with us you put in an application for club membership.
