Tea at Epping Forest and Redbourne

Clubruns currently depart at 9.30am.

Our Club runs are open to all and are the usual starting point for those interested in joining the club.

We meet on Sunday mornings at the junction of A1000 and Mutton Lane, Potters Bar. MAP

There are usually at least 2 groups except for the first Sunday of each month when we also have an Introductory Ride of 25 to 30 miles for cyclists new to group riding. Please check the date of the next Introductory ride on this page

Our ‘Steady group’ is a sensibly paced ride of around 35-45 miles. Add on your mileage to Potters Bar and for most North London riders it’s a 50-60 mile day out, normally with a tea stop. Ideal for those looking to ‘step up’ to decent length club runs and those looking for training rides in the close season. Nobody is left behind and assistance given with punctures etc. Average speed about 14-16 mph. If you’re new to riding with a club or in a group but know that you can cover the distance then this is the ride to join.

Second ride is for faster/fitter riders with experience riding in a group looking for a 50 to 60 mile ride. Often without a tea stop and no waiting for dropped riders as the ride quickens towards the end. Everyone in this group is expected to do their bit on the front and not ride as a ‘passenger’. Average speed 18-20 mph.

We do ask that once you have been on 3 Club Runs with us you put in an application for club membership.
